It seems that Nintendo have gotten tired of replacing straps and now, in America at least, are offering a “free silicone covers” named “The Wii Remote Jacket“.
I’m not sure on the design but I think any Wii owners with expensive HDTVs will see this behind a major safety guard. It’s all well and good having a strap, but they do break just through over use, espcially if your hands do get sweatty and it does slip out alot (never had that issue personally, but I suppose fat kids do). So having that extra no slip cover does have that double dutch feeling.
One thing I wonder is how it feels when playing with the ‘Mote sideways for games like Super Paper Mario? Does seem, from the picture, to be symetrical enough. If they thought of that then this maybe one of those products that people would pay for!
