Infoactive Media during the day - launched a website last week… which was fun… - and also freelancing at night as I need the money due to the other reason; purchasing a home. The only free time I get is weekends now, and they’ve been busy them selves. Gaming is becoming a forigen concept remarkably fast, but watching the girlie kick ass online with Mario Kart Wii is cool - great game by the way!
The girlie and I have got a mortgage through and sorted our insurance; we are waiting for the surveying to go through and just need to sign the deeds. Hopefully we can still move in on the early side of May, but we aren’t holding out. Mind you, we need to move soon seeming as our room with Kerrie’s mum is completely full and we are taking over the third bed room here with all the house stuff!
I think the worse part of this whole moving process is wanting it to be done and get in there to make our own space and set our mark. I got a nice big ass HD TV waiting to be used and I really want to set up my office space ready to use (more on this in a bit). But alas, how these things go is they take forever and want to get up your ass.
We’ve seen the flat 3 times now and each time it seems better and we are more and more happy with it. With both our families having seen it now and loving it, makes you feel better about what you are doing as I can’t quite explain what getting a mortgage is like, but it’s scary when you think about it, but easy to forget (maybe because I haven’t had the worry of having to look at my bank).
I finally got my new car that I’ve needed since a Italian lorry driver decided it would be a good idea to merge lanes on a fecking busy motor-way while I’m still in the lane! I got myself a nice Peugeot 206 Fever, silver, 53 plate. Absolutely love the car and feels awesome to drive, amazing sound system, but I’m going to take it to a dealership to get an auxiliary installed. Chuffed with the fact I bought it for a few hundred under asking price and with no finance for a car that feels new still.
I’ve been mulling over the idea of setting up my own freelance studio from my home (hence the need for an office). Not leaving my job at all (not for a long while yet as I love it), but just a name to go buy when I’m freelancing and a distribution centre on the web for other bits I do. I got a name sorted and will be buying the domain soon and will probably get rid of WolfWeb.co.uk in that case and move it to a new sub-domain on the studio. Will let y’all know when that happens.
If anybody wishes to purchase WolfWeb.co.uk then please contact wolfie[dot]zero[at]gmail[dot]com, and if you can’t work out what to do with my email address then you don’t deserve the domain.
So that’s all from me at the moment; I’m trying to update my Twitter with the latest so that gets pushed here.
