Apple’s new operating system arrived yesterday, Mac OS X Leopard.

MacOS Leopard: Oct 2007

I’m really impressed with it; I just love it!

One of the new features that I’ve really got into is Spaces; because I’m used to working with two/three monitors at a time, as much as I love working on laptops, the lack of monitors is an annoyance. So, having something which acts like I have 2, 4, 6, or 9 (I am working with nine at the moment) is awesome!

Mind you, it’s not the same as having two or three monitors on a desk as in a visible information aspect, but it’s good enough any way.

They UI in general is a lot nicer, using the iTunes interface and removed the “Brushed Metal” which I wasn’t a fan of. The cover flow is a nice little touch and the new dock “fan” is awesome (I’ve set up a list of design programs in one place).

Deffo worth the £6 I spent on it!

My MacBookI got my MacBook! Yay!

Quiet unexpected as it’s officially a day early. But I’m messing about with it at the moment (as you can tell from the finger marks on it), playing with the nice features!

Such a nice machine to feel, one thing I never noticed in the shops is how smooth the keypad is; it’s like velvet. But from my G3 iBook, it’s exceptionally quick!

For the moment, I’m just using it to listen to music, which I shall be doing a lot of on it.

But alas, I was quiet happy to read yesterday on the Apple UK Store that they are offering people who bought Macs between October 1st 2007 till December 29th 2007 upgrade to “Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard at a cost of £5.95” which I think is most awesome!

There is a list of what Apple computers qulify for the offer, but its pretty much if you ordered since October, you should get it.

Just because I still haven’t got my MacBook yet… this!

PC User and Mac user (1996)

From way back in 1996! Funny when you look at the current “I’m a PC, I’m a Mac” ads (UK / USA)
